The 6-foot-2, 210-pound quarterback’s efforts helped lead Clemson to its first ACC championship since 2022, where he was named the MVP of the game for the second time. Klubnik also lead Clemson back to the CFP, ending its three-year drought.

 

Klubnik’s decision is huge for Clemson in 2025. He will enter his third season as a full-time starter and will have a chorus of improved skill position players to get the ball to. His return will likely increase his NFL draft stock, too, if he can improve on his success in 2024.

Klubnik showed vast improvement in his second season as a full-time starter in 2024. He recorded 3,639 yards passing (seventh most in Clemson’s history) with 36 touchdowns (tied for second most) and six interceptions. He also rushed for 463 yards and seven touchdowns

Clemson football star quarterback Cade Klubnik announced he will return to the Tigers in 2025.

 

Klubnik announced his intentions Monday night on X, formerly known as Twitter, using the final year of his eligibility.

 

“The story isn’t over,” Klubnik wrote. “See y’all in 2025.
