Morgan Gibbs-White thinks his Nottingham Forest teammate is ‘perfect’ to play alongside
Morgan Gibbs-White of Nottingham Forest has praised Callum Hudson-Odoi. They’ve known one other for a long time and have finally met at the City Ground.
Under the tutelage of Steve Cooper, Gibbs-White and the player Forest signed in the summer transfer window won the under-17 World Cup in 2017. The duo will now seek to maintain their formidable relationship.
Forest has already gotten a taste of what Hudson-Odoi is capable of. He curled in an unbelievable equalizer in the Reds’ 1-1 draw with Burnley, and Gibbs-White is looking forward to playing alongside him again.

Gibbs-White has been questioned about Hudson-Odoi’s signing. It’s safe to assume he’s overjoyed to be playing with the winger again at Forest.
“I’ve known Callum since I was 16, so I know what he’s like,” he told Premier League Productions. When I was growing up, he was the best one-on-one; the best I’d ever played against, the finest player I’d ever seen.
“I just know what he likes, I know what he wants. I know where he wants the ball, he’s not only a one-on-one player, he wants the one-twos, he wants to combine.
“For me, he’s just the perfect winger to want to want to play with because he will run in behind, come short and I just love him and playing with players like that.”
Gibbs-White and Hudson-Odoi could really star at the City Ground
It’s quite exciting to see what Forest can achieve with these two players in the final third. Hudson-Odoi already looks like he is a very exciting player and Forest fans know what Gibbs-White is capable of.
On the field, the two players already have chemistry, and there will be more to come. Cooper’s task is to have the pair playing well together, which should benefit Forest.
