Nayef Aguerd of West Ham United received three different offers to leave the club this summer, but he turned them all down.

According to The Athletic, Aguerd has received offers from a Saudi Pro League club and two unnamed European clubs.

Aguerd, on the other hand, notified his representatives that he was content to remain in East London.

And given Aguerd’s performances since his arrival, this is undoubtedly good news for West Ham fans.

The 27-year-old hasn’t been perfect, and he’s had some tough games, but he’s been a huge success overall.

However, this may imply that interest will continue in January.

Manchester City is the next team to be believed to be interested in Aguerd, an opportunity that may prove more appealing.

Furthermore, it is now rumored that Liverpool is also interested.

However, a significant bid is likely to be required to persuade West Ham to sell.

West Ham’s Aguerd has turned down three proposals to leave this summer.

Aguerd joined the club last summer and was rumored to be a long-term objective.

According to the source, David Moyes was also contemplating Newcastle United’s Sven Botman at the time.

Botman was playing for Lille at the time but Moyes ultimately preferred to go with Aguerd who the club had long coveted.

This information does therefore prove just how difficult it may be to prise Aguerd away from West Ham in the future for any side.

The player is happy and David Moyes seems very unlikely to want to sell.

Aguerd will have no doubt endeared himself to the West Ham faithful even more given this news of the bids he rejected.

And as the club prepare to continue their excellent start to this Premier League campaign, Aguerd will be a key part of it.
