Wesley, a young player for Corinthians, is still being pursued by West Ham United, thus it appears that further developments in the negotiations may be forthcoming.

According to a report published today by Globo Esporte, Augusto Melo, the Brazilian club’s president, will visit Europe the following week.

In addition to meeting other clubs and watching the Champions League final, the club president is anticipated to discuss Wesley’s sale with them.

West Ham is the “favourites” to sign the 19-year-old, according to Globo Esporte, despite having their first offer turned down.
However, as the narrative provides no information on that front, it is unclear whether Melo will meet the Hammers.

It has been reported that Corinthians was seeking roughly €25 million, while West Ham had previously offered €18 million, which was insufficient. The request might be slightly reduced if a portion of a future transfer is included.

Given the rumour that the Hammers met with the player’s agents to make that offer, it’s possible that they’re moving forward and engaging with the club president in order to increase the likelihood of a deal.
