Rob Gronkowski identifies the ideal candidate to be the Cowboys’ next coach.
After dropping five straight games and learning that star quarterback Dak Prescott is officially out for the remainder of the 2024 NFL season, the Dallas Cowboys are limping to the end of the season with a 3-7 record. Since the Cowboys will not be in the NFC going forward, all eyes will be on the front office, longstanding owner Jerry Jones, and the choices that must be made in light of this season’s disappointment.
Since there are so many well-known candidates that could become available throughout the offseason, the one decision that everyone will be anticipating is whether the Cowboys will ultimately fire head coach Mike McCarthy.
In addition to Mike Vrabel and Bill Belichick, former Cowboys player Deion Sanders is a noteworthy coaching possibility who may be available. With the assistance of his son and quarterback, Shedeur Sanders, Sanders has helped the University of Colorado rise above mediocrity.
In the offseason, Dallas might try to sign Deion Sanders, who has a history with the Cowboys and is in high demand due to his teaching abilities. Rob Gronkowski thinks this would be the best course of action for the legendary team. Gronkowski stated on “Up & Adams” that “I believe Deion Sanders is the only coach out there that can handle that.” 100%, so I’d really like to see that work. Aside from non-Cowboys fans, everyone would be thrilled to see it occur.
As of right now, with a significant number of games remaining in the regular season, it is unclear what Jones will do if he splits with McCarthy.
If McCarthy is fired by Dallas, there will be plenty of other good candidates, and Sanders might be one of them.

The Dallas Cowboys have received a lot of media attention this year, but not necessarily for the right reasons. After their disappointing first-round playoff exit in 2023, many fans and analysts expected them to bounce back, hungry for another chance to avenge this loss.
The Cowboys, who now have a 3-7 record, have sadly been unable to find a means to improve. Dak Prescott and Mike McCarthy are frequently cited as the team’s two main problems, while there are other factors at play as well. Despite McCarthy’s apparent termination last year, Dak Prescott retained him because he thought that things would change in 2024. It would be shocking to see McCarthy lead this club again the following season, considering they are essentially eliminated from the playoffs after 11 weeks.
Colin Cowherd recently came up with a new coach-quarterback combo that he thinks will work in response to the demand for a new head coach, as he revealed on a recent episode of “The Herd.” “I’d go pick up Deion Sanders.” Shedeur Sanders is the one I would choose. Cowherd stated, “I would give up Micah Parsons and three firsts if I had to.”
