The St. Louis Battlehawks made another addition of their own, signing WR James Bostic back to the roster.St. Louis Battlehawks Re-Sign WR James Bostic

James Bostic was an XFL Rookie Draft pick for the Battlehawks, signing with the team last fall. He was brought to Training Camp – but ultimately was let go before the UFL season began.

Bostic is a physical receiver, one who utilized his combination of size and speed to make things happen during his days at college. He’s got some similarities to someone like Hakeem Butler, who has seen a lot of success at this level.

James Bostic played most of his college football at Vanderbilt, but it wasn’t until he transferred to Ohio where he put himself on the map. In 2022, James posted 607 receiving yards and a touchdown, averaging 18.3 YPR.

With some of the receivers in St. Louis potentially not returning, it makes sense to see Bostic back on the roster. He’s got experience with the Battlehawks in UFL Training Camp, and is a prospect that Anthony Becht and Dave Boller clearly like – since they drafted him last June.
