But she remained positive about the relationship and her life.
“I look back and I think I have had a privileged life, I have had a blessed existence,” she told ABC Radio National in 2015.
“Peter and I shared 28 years of a most amazing relationship.”
Her son, James Brock, posted a statement on Facebook announcing her death.
“Bev was a dedicated parent, always making time to make a costume for a play or help out on a school camp,” Mr Brock said in the statement.

Kriv Stenders, who directed a 2020 documentary on Peter Brock, said he was shocked to learn of Bev Brock’s passing.
“She’s probably one of the most remarkable, extraordinary, resilient, ferocious women I’ve ever met in my life,” Stenders told ABC Melbourne radio.
He said that Bev Brock was integral to her partner’s success throughout the 70s and 80s.
