So Sad: Drake Maye Announced a devastating news….

Drake Maye has tough New England Patriots task to finally replace Tom Brady….

Drake Maye has a mammoth task ahead as he tries to halt the downward spiral at the New England Patriots.

The 22-year-old is the latest quarterback attempting to fill the void left by Tom Brady, who led the Patriots to six Super Bowl victories during his 20-year tenure. Since Brady’s departure, Patriots fans have endured four largely disappointing seasons, with this one potentially being the worst yet, having suffered five losses in their first six games.

Maye stepped up as the latest quarterback last week and is expected to start his second game today at Wembley against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite only having one start under his belt, London won’t feel foreign to him, given his past experiences in the city, including attending the Olympics.Tom Brady sends big warning to Drake Maye and new Patriots coaching staff in passionate rant | Marca

“I had some family that lived in London,” shared Maye, whose family enjoys traveling. “My uncle did, and me and my family went to the Olympics in 2012. They live in California now and my brother plays basketball in Japan.”

His father, Mark, was also a quarterback, playing for the Raleigh-Durham Skyhawks of the now-defunct World League of American Football. Mark was part of the Skyhawks team that lost at the old Wembley in 1991 against the London Monarchs.Drake Maye shared that he is familiar with London ahead of taking the field at Wembley

Drake may have faced defeat last week, but with three touchdown passes in his first start, he’s convinced that this is just the beginning of his NFL triumphs.

“Having had my first start, I think I will get more confident as the week goes on. It will be a little different this week being overseas.

“It helps getting that first one last week. Now, going overseas to London to play, in front of a big crowd out there, it will pretty cool to see the NFL playing overseas. And we’ve got a chance to get a win.”
