HIGHLIGHTS

. Because of QPR’s dismal showing at the end of last season, younger players may be given a chance to establish themselves and earn a place in the starting XI.

. Rayan Kolli, an 18-year-old attacker, has already made his senior debut and is battling for playing time with fellow young forward Sinclair Armstrong’s breakthrough.

. Charlie Kelman, a 21-year-old striker, had a successful loan spell at Leyton Orient last season and is likely to play more for QPR this season. Lorenzo Strachan, a 16-year-old attacker, has shown promise and could become one of the club’s youngest players.

QPR possess a wealth of exciting young talent, that could break into the first-team this season.

Following a disastrous end to the 2022/23 season, the Hoops are among the betting favorites to be relegated this season. From January to March, the Rs won just three of 24 matches, leaving their fans worried about what was to come.

If the dismal form continues, younger players may be given a chance to prove their value and win a regular berth in Gareth Ainsworth’s starting XI.

With that in mind, we’ve produced a list of three young players who could make their first-team debut in 2023/24.

Rayan Kolli

18-year-old Rayan Kolli joined the London-based club aged eight, and has risen through the youth ranks ever since. His journey through the academy came to a head in January, when the Algerian penned his first professional contract.
