It has been reported that Manchester City could seal the signing of Matheus Nunes from Wolves with their next bid.

This comes from journalist Ben Jacobs on Twitter Spaces, after the 25-year-old was claimed to have ‘stopped training’ in order to force a move to City on Monday.

Now, it seems like Manchester City and Matheus Nunes could finally join forces as the next bid in place could go through.

Fortunately for Manchester City, it seems like their next bid could do the trick and confirm the arrival of Matheus Nunes, according to Ben Jacobs.

“Wolves have got a much higher valuation that exceeds £50 million and Manchester City have already had two bids rejected.”

“But when the player wants the move and when the money on the table from Wolves’ perspective hits, a certain number, not just a number they want but from a purely financial point of view, a number that they’ll almost be forced to accept, I think that they’ll have to sell eventually, which is why Manchester City are quite confident and I think one more bid might do it for Manchester City.”
