Nottingham Forest transfer explained as ‘exciting’ striker comment made

Latest Nottingham Forest news as Reds loanee Hwang Ui-jo hopes to make Norwich City debut after summer transfer

Norwich City boss David Wagner says “everything” about Nottingham Forest loanee Hwang Ui-jo excites him.

Hwang linked up with the Canaries on transfer deadline day before the international break. He is due to spend the rest of the season at Carrow Road.

The attacker joined the Reds a year ago but spent the previous season on loan at Olympiacos and then FC Seoul. He returned to the City Ground this summer but did not play for Steve Cooper’s team in the opening four games of the season, despite being on the bench three times.

He could make his Norwich City debut this weekend against Stoke City. Wagner is certain that he can make an impact with the Championship club.

“We signed him because he’s super fit,” Wagner told the club’s official website. “He looked very sharp and very aggressive for South Korea.

“He is very exciting and really wanted to come to us. I am looking forward to seeing him. Everything about him excites.”

He went on to say, “Now it’s a lot of work in the video meeting rooms (for the new signings) to learn how we like to defend and attack.”

“English football is tough,” Hwang stated after signing with the Canaries. I’ll be ready for every game since every player is talented, and I have to do more every day.

“I feel compelled to share my experience.” I will work hard so that the young players may see me. “I’d like to set a good example.”
