west ham united may be able to secure one of David Moyes’ top transfer targets in January.

The summer transfer window came and went, with four new players joining West Ham and Andy Irving being loaned back to SK Austria Klagenfurt.

The Hammers had a fantastic transfer window, but David Moyes must be chastised for failing to sign a striker.

Hugo Ekitike was one attacker prominently connected with a move to the London Stadium; the 21-year-old Frenchman was regarded to be Moyes and Tim Steidten’s main striker target.

He eventually stayed with PSG, but a recent story gives me hope that Moyes may be able to sign him in January…

West Ham have a fantastic opportunity to sign a £30 million striker in the January transfer window.
According to Foot Mercato, Ekitike is completely unwelcome at PSG and will play only a little role this season.

This opens the way for Moyes to bring him to the London Stadium in January.

According to Foot Mercato journalist Santi Aouna, he is valued over £30 million.

With his lightning pace, fantastic movement, and deadly finishing, Ekitike is the ideal striker for us and the way we play.

The Frenchman would take this Hammers team to a whole new level, and he is Michail Antonio’s logical heir.

Moyes must do all it takes to get a deal done for him.

And, given Foot Mercato’s newest allegation, I believe West Ham should be able to sign Hugo Ekitike in the January transfer window.
