SportsMonday: Michigan needs more than a coaching change to be competitive

After the Michigan men’s basketball team lost yet another game — this time a Saturday matinee collapse against Rutgers — fans wanted answers. Walking from the press box to the media room, I overheard one fan asking event staff about the facilities.

“Is Juwan gonna be there?” they asked. “Can I talk to him?”

A lot of fans wish they could. Sitting in last place in the Big Ten, on a 1-10 skid the past 11 games, Michigan fans want answers. They want something to change. They want Juwan Howard gone.
