Michigan State University has unveiled its 2025 football and basketball lineups, signaling a fresh start and renewed ambitions in East Lansing. Fans can expect a compelling mix of veteran leadership and rising stars ready to make their mark in the Big Ten.

 

On the football front, Head Coach Jonathan Smith is reshaping the program with an emphasis on defensive strength and backfield versatility. The linebacker unit is one to watch, featuring Wayne Matthews III, Semaj Bridgeman, and Marcellius Pulliam—a trio expected to anchor the defense with tenacity and speed. Matthews, a transfer standout, adds experience, while Bridgeman and Pulliam bring youthful explosiveness.
