Leeds United attacker and Everton target Wilfried Gnonto has arrived at Thorp Arch ahead of Daniel Farke’s press conference, according to LUFC Fan Zone.

The reliable news outlet for all things Elland Road reported on Wednesday (16 August) that even Luis Sinisterra is at the training ground.

This comes after the duo were training alone and away from the rest of the squad on Tuesday.

Via Twitter, LUFC Fan Zone wrote, “Yesterday morning Willy Gnonto and Luis Sinisterra trained alone, away from the main Leeds squad, with the main session taking place in the afternoon.

“Today’s training for the squad is to take place this morning, before Daniel Farke’s press conference, and both Gnonto and Sinisterra are present at Thorp Arch, but it is not clear if they will participate in the main session or train alone once again.”

Per the Daily Mail on 16 August, Gnonto is pushing for a move to Goodison Park this summer.

Questions ahead?

Farke is certainly going to be questioned about the futures of the two attackers who have now become wantaways in the squad.

Gnonto, until recently, appeared to be happy staying at Elland Road and was even part of the first game of the season.

For him to suddenly do a 180 has come as a surprise and the club cannot just bend to his whims this late in the window.

If he wanted to leave, like many other players did, he should’ve made his intentions clear from the get go.

With Sinisterra, he was signed for big money last summer and Leeds will be looking for a decent payout if they are to sell him this summer.

If that does not happen, then there’s every chance the Colombian stays at the club this season, at least until January.

In other Leeds United news, the club could look to rekindle their interest in a Golden Boot winner who Daniel Farke will love and it will take £15million to get the deal done.
