Las Vegas Strip brings back star headliner after long residency

While the Las Vegas Strip may be well-known for hosting headliners who stay in different hotel-casino theaters, T-Mobile Arena is the best place to go when big names are in town for a day or two. Additionally, Allegiant Stadium is the best location for concerts by the biggest names in music, such as Taylor Swift and the Rolling Stones. Swift last attended Super Bowl 58 in Las Vegas on February 11 and last performed in Sin City on March 24–25, 2023, as part of the Eras Tour, at Allegiant. Regarding the Rolling Stones, “The Greatest Rock and Roll Band in the World,” their Hackney Diamonds Tour stops at Allegiant on May 11.

CATCH THESE SHOWS BEFORE THEY ARE GONE

U2’s 40-show residency U2/UV Achtung Baby Live at Sphere Entertainment’s (SPHR) Sphere at The Venetian Resort, which began on September 29, 2023, has been the most well-liked event on the strip. Fans should visit the Sphere as soon as possible because the U2 residency ends on March 2. There is still plenty of time for those who are unable to attend U2’s show to catch Adele’s “Weekends with Adele” residency at Caesars Entertainment’s (CZR) Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which is another massive event on the Strip. On June 15, the “Hello” singer will conclude her 100-show residency.

Pop sensation Justin Timberlake made his most recent appearance in Las Vegas on December 14 at a private VIP invite-only celebration for the debut of Fontainebleau Las Vegas’ BleauLive Theater. Although Timberlake hasn’t signed a residency deal yet, he will be making his first trip to Vegas in five years, The Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which will stop at T-Mobile Arena on May 10–11. Songs from his forthcoming album “Everything I Thought It Was,” which features his most recent single “Selfish,” will be made available for listening. The album will be available on March 15th.

Since launching his first residency, “Usher The Las Vegas Residency,” a 20-show run at Caesars Entertainment’s (CZR) Colosseum at Caesars Palace in 2021 and 2022, superstar R&B headliner Usher has grown to become one of the most popular performers on the Strip. “Usher: My Way The Vegas Residency” at MGM Resorts International’s (MGM) Dolby Live at Park MGM, which opened in July 2022 and ran for 100 shows before closing on December 2, 2023, was the “Yeah” singer’s response to the success of his first residency.
