Kevin Durant In Sad State AS His Reveals One His Closes Suffers Injuries Which Could End His Career…

LeBron James and Kevin Durant are two of the best players in basketball history. Another who could have ended up on that list is Chicago Bulls legend, Derrick Rose.

Unfortunately, after an iconic season that saw him become the youngest MVP in NBA history, Rose struggled with injuries.

They ended up altering his game and he never returned to his pre-injury MVP self. To his credit, Rose did reinvent himself and went on to have a 16-year career in the NBA.

Just a few days back, we had discussed the possibility of the Bulls bringing Rose back for one last run after he was waived by the Memphis Grizzlies.Jan 5, 2022; Indianapolis, Indiana, USA; Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Durant (7) talks to the media after the game against the Indiana Pacers at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Unfortunately, that was not to be, as Rose announced his retirement from the sport at the age of 35.

Rose might not have reached his potential due to injuries but that does not mean that he did not make an impact on the game. And how much he was loved and respected by his peers became clear after his announcement.

LeBron posted a series of stories on Instagram about his former teammate. The two played together for a short while in Cleveland.

On the other hand, Kevin Durant left a wonderful comment on Instagram about Rose. It read: “One of the greatest to ever grace a court. Thank you for sharing your gifts to the world, can’t wait to see what u got next.”

There is no doubt that Rose’s legacy in the sport is secured, especially when it comes to Bulls history.

Rose might not have been able to guide his hometown team to Championship glory but for a while, he certainly made the fans dream.

At the end of the day, memories are all we have and we can only thank Rose for the wonderful ones he gifted us.
