Pablo Fornals has been widely linked with a move away from West Ham United in recent months.

Pablo Fornals joined West Ham from Villarreal in the summer of 2019 for roughly £25 million (The Telegraph), and he made an immediate impression at the London Stadium.

However, he has fallen down the pecking order under Hammers boss David Moyes since October last year.

I recently stated that it is most likely in Fornals’ best interests to depart West Ham in January.

And it appears that this is a possibility…

West Ham United’s star Pablo Fornals has a preference on where he wants to play football.
According to the Spanish publication Vamos Mi Sevilla FC, Fornals would prefer to come to Sevilla in January.

That comes as no surprise given that he has yet to start a game for us in the last 11 months.

The Spaniard is a fantastic footballer, but he is mostly used on the left wing, a position that renders him completely unproductive owing to his lack of pace.

In the central midfield areas, the 27-year-old simply has too much competition.

With Euro 2024 on the horizon, he needs to start playing regular football if he is to have any hope of breaking into the Spain squad.

Unfortunately for Pablo Fornals, that will not be the case at West Ham

West Ham fans will be fuming with anger after official announcement ahead of Manchester City clash

On Saturday afternoon, West Ham United will face Manchester City in the Premier League.

Both West Ham and Manchester City are unbeaten after four Premier League games this season, with Pep Guardiola’s men dominating the standings with a 100% record.

The Hammers will clearly struggle to get anything out of the game at the London Stadium, and David Moyes will be well aware of that.

The Cityzens, on the other hand, will not be looking forward to a journey to East London after our strong start to the season.

Man City are the best squad in the world. If we are to attain a result, we will need everything to go our way.

And there is some unpleasant news for West Ham fans to absorb ahead of the game…

West Ham fans will be furious following the official statement ahead of the Manchester City match.
Andy Madley will officiate the match between West Ham United and Manchester City on Saturday, according to WHUFC.com.

It’s difficult enough for West Ham to face the ‘big six’ already. We never seem to obtain favorable decisions.

And now it may be even more difficult for us on Saturday…

That’s because Andy Madley has a history with the Hammers and was involved in one of the worst judgements made during a Premier League football match.

Last season, Madley was in charge of the match between West Ham and Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, and after being sent to the pitch side monitor, he ruled out Maxwel Cornet’s late equalizer.

The judgment was completely ridiculous. He didn’t rule out the goal at first, but after seeing the incident on the monitor, he decided to prohibit it.

The last thing West Ham needs is for Andy Madley to crack under pressure against Manchester City this weekend. I’m sure Hammers fans will be wondering why he was allowed another chance to referee one of our games after making such a terrible judgment that cost us dearly last year.

The Premier League confirmed that Madley’s ruling was one of the six major mistakes made by officials last season.

I just think it’s outrageous that he’s officiating another West Ham game. Hopefully, no one will bring up his name after the game.
