Adana Demirspor and Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis have signed an agreement. The Reds are presently in talks with the Turkish club in order to finalize a deal.

According to Sports Digitale, the player has decided to join the Premier League club this summer. He’s eager to get out of the City Ground after spending the entire season practicing and playing friendlies with the B-Team.

Dennis agreed to terms with Forest in the summer of 2022 for a cost of around £15 million. The player came from Watford, where he scored 10 goals in his first Premier League season.

Dennis struggled to find regular first-team action. Although he appeared in 25 games, just six of them were as a starter, with the 25-year-old scoring two goals.

Demirspor will be hoping that Dennis can give them a little bit of a lift. They’ve won one and drawn two of their first three matches and sit 10th in the Super Lig table.

Turkey’s transfer window closes on Friday. As a result, Forest will be hoping that they can reach an agreement with Adana fast so that Dennis has enough time to finalize the transaction.

Michael Owen praised Dennis while he was at Watford. He praised him and labeled him ‘outstanding’ for his performance against Aston Villa.

Dennis is on his way to Adana Demirspor from Forest.
This appears to be a move that benefits all parties. Dennis appears to have no future at Forest and will be anxious to play regular first-team football somewhere.

It simply hasn’t worked for the striker from the start. He’s never really fit into the style of football that Steve Cooper prefers, and the head coach hasn’t shown much interest in him.

The Reds will relish the opportunity to take some of Dennis’ £42,000-a-week salary off the payroll. Adana will not cover the entire bill, but at this point, not having him around the club makes a lot of sense.
