Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison does not appear happy on the pitch, according to Martin Keown.

Former Arsenal player and talkSPORT analyst believes Tottenham Hotspur and Brazil international Richarlison is not living up to his full potential.

Keown brought up the £175,000-a-week (SalarySport) salary when addressing his current circumstances.

Richarlison is having difficulty for Tottenham Hotspur.
Richarlison has been suffering for some time at Tottenham.

Last season, the Tottenham no. 9 made 12 starts and 15 substitute appearances in the Premier League for Tottenham.

Richarlison scored one goal and assisted on three others in those games.

Last season, the Brazilian made four starts and two substitute appearances for Spurs in the UEFA Champions League.

In those games, the former Watford striker scored twice.

The 26-year-old failed to make an impact for Brazil during the international break.

Martin Keown on Tottenham Hotspur forward Richarlison Richarlison opened out about his predicament this week, and Keown noticed that the former Watford and Everton star never seemed pleased on the pitch.

On talkSPORT (12:40pm, September 15, 2023), Keown said about Richarlison, “I never see him happy on the pitch.”

“I believe he is that kind of player.” I see him and believe he is not living up to his full potential.”

We feel Richarlison will eventually deliver for Tottenham Hotspur.

The forward has been off his game for a time, but he is only 26 years old and played brilliantly before joining the Spurs.

Spurs fans, in our opinion, should be positive about the Brazilian regaining his rhythm and turning on the style for the North London club.

Tottenham Hotspur’s goal this season is to finish in the top four of the Premier League table.
