The Eagles appear to have saved him until the best possible time, when Benfica face Porto in the Estádio da Luz on Friday. The winger hasn’t played since May 21st, when he suffered a knee injury that required surgery, but he should be back on the field this week, according to Record.

Guedes had previously trained with Benfica’s squad, but

That’s great news for Wolves, who’ve undoubtedly been watching the situation closely.

Guedes had already been loaned to Benfica by Molineux in January of this year. Because he was injured and required surgery, the Eagles requested that his suspension be prolonged in the summer.
Wolves were stuck since, with the player recovering from surgery, few teams would make an offer for him, so they loaned him back to the Eagles for another year.
