Some Nottingham Forest fans would have welcomed Keinan Davis’s return to the club in recent transfer windows. With Udinese, he’s had the worst possible start to life in Italy.

The talisman was stationed at the City Ground for the second part of 2021/22. They say you should never fall in love with a loan player, but Aston Villa fans fell head over heels for the striker.

Some people are unable to let him go. When Forest declined to sign Davis last summer, some fans were perplexed. Then, in January, a certain group hoped the player would visit the City Ground.

Even this summer, some supporters wanted him back. To be honest, those who are furious and refuse to let Davis go need a reality check, and they may have received one.

According to Msesagero Veneto, the footballer will be out until November due to a calf ailment. Furthermore, the source states that Udinese are dissatisfied with Davis’ physical condition upon arrival.

Davis must be forgotten by Forest fans.

At the City Ground, the striker learned his trade as a Championship player. Davis was outstanding for Forest, scoring five goals as the club stormed to promotion from the second division.

He has, nevertheless, established himself as a Championship player. There is little evidence that Davis is capable of doing at Forest what Taiwo Awoniyi did and establishing himself as a polished Premier League center-forward.

Davis has played 34 Premier League games in his career and has scored one goal. While it is easy to argue that his game is about more than goals, Forest have moved on to better players.

Davis hasn’t arrived at Udinese in the best physical condition, which is fairly surprising. With a nasty calf injury to his anguish, the 25-year-old is already fighting to prove himself at his new club.
