‘OUTRAGEOUS’ PLAYER REALLY WANTS TO JOIN WEST HAM, BUT ONE MAJOR PROBLEM

Ajax star Mohammed Kudus is reportedly keen on a move to David Moyes’s West Ham United in the summer transfer window, but there is an issue.

According to 90min, West Ham United are in talks with Ajax over a deal for Mohammed Kudus in the summer transfer window.

Kudus turned down a move to Brighton and Hove Albion earlier summer and is open to joining West Ham now.

The Ghana international attacking player has “all but agreed” personal terms with the Hammers, who will play in the UEFA Europa League this campaign after winning the UEFA Europa Conference League last season.

However, Premier League club West Ham and Eredivisie outfit Ajax are unable to agree on a transfer fee.

While Ajax want £40 million, West Ham are ready to pay £29.9 million for the 23-year-old, who was described as “outrageous” by former Manchester United centre-back Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport in September 2022.

West Ham United should get a deal done for Ajax star Mohammed Kudus

In our view, West Ham United should pay the extra £10 million or so needed to get a deal done for Ajax star Mohammed Kudus in the summer transfer window.

If the attacker wants to move to the Hammers and manager David Moyes thinks that he would make his squad better, then the London club should pay the transfer fee needed.

The Ghanaian can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger.

The youngster made 19 starts and 11 substitute appearances in the Eredivisie for Ajax last season.

Kudus scored 11 goals and gave three assists in those matches.

The 23-year-old scored one goal in two UEFA Europa League for Ajax last season.
