For a little backstory on Nic Toomer, he has been at Indiana for one season after transferring from Stanford, where he spent four seasons. Toomer recorded 22 tackles, 3 pass break ups and 1 interception in 2024.

Toomer: The transfer has been a smooth transition. There is always an adjustment period especially coming here and then getting a new coaching staff but once you get in a flow it becomes natural

Hoosiers State of Mind: What teammate do you trust on aux the most in the Indiana locker room?
Toomer: The teammate I trust most on the aux is Solomon Vanhorse, he always plays some heat!

Toomer: My go to hype songs are “I’m on some” by gunna or “bodiez”by chuckyy

Toomer: My favorite music is anything by gunna, future or veeze.
