Leeds United transfer news as fatal consequences claim made amid Nadiem Amiri pursuit

Leeds United target Nadiem Amiri could face “fatal consequences” if he does not make another u-turn this summer, according to Kicker.

The German media outlet reported on its website on Saturday (26 August) the 25-year-old cancelled his proposed move to another club earlier this week just to give his green signal to Leeds and now has gone back on that as well.

This decision has seen his agents even terminate their deal with him and it may not yet be the end of the saga.

Amiri does not seem to know what he wants right now and it’s definitely not a move to Elland Road.

Had he been keen right from the start, he wouldn’t be changing his mind every day and this is a red flag for the Whites.

Even if they do end up agreeing on personal terms with him, he doesn’t seem like someone who’s going to have his heart in the right place.

Daniel Farke’s already said that he does not want players who don’t want to be at the club and Amiri gives off that energy.

It remains to be seen if something dramatic happens but this is not worth counting chickens over.

Leeds must focus their attention on other players, someone like Glen Kamara, who does appear keen on joining.
