The Miami Dolphins’ secondary could be considerably stronger much sooner than imagined. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, cornerback Jalen Ramsey is making a solid recovery from knee surgery and could play up to eight games for the Dolphins this season.
Miami has a bye week on November 12th, and Ramsey might be ready for the games after that. His debut game would be against the Las Vegas Raiders on November 19th. According to ESPN, Ramsey wants to play.
The Dolphins have been waiting for Ramsey to return to full health, and they really need him. The brilliant six-time Pro Bowl cornerback has over 450 tackles and 19 interceptions in his career. Ramsey underwent surgery in July after injuring himself during summer activities. Before joining the Dolphins for the 2023 season, he was surrounded by buzz. Ramsey formerly played for the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Los Angeles Rams before joining the Miami Dolphins.
Miami, on the other hand, is having a solid season even without Ramsey. . The club has only given up 1,187 passing yards this season while scoring over 200 points in its first five gamesBringing Ramsey back into the lineup would help the Dolphins keep opponents at bay and maybe prolong their good defensive performance. The team must be overjoyed that Ramsey is recovering so quickly after such a difficult injury.
Ramsey was drafted in the first round by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016. He’s been named to the NFL’s First Team All-Pro three times. On Sunday, Miami will host the winless Carolina Panthers.
