Burnley sign ex-Monaco midfielder Han-Noah Massengo

Burnley have announced the signing of French Under-21 internaitonal Han-Noah Massengo on a four-year contract.

The 22-year-old midfielder joins the Clarets after his deal at Bristol City expires over the summer.

Massengo began his youth career at hometown club Villepinte and also had stints at Sevran, Esperance Aulneysienne and Blanc-Mesnil.

He joined Monaco in 2016 and made his senior debut in a Champions League tie against Club Brugge at 17 years of age, becoming the first player born in the 21st century to feature in the famous competition.

The midfielder headed to Bristol City in the summer of 2019 and went on to make more than 100 appearances for the Robins, also having a loan spell at Auxerre during the second half of last term.

Massengo has also represented France from Under-17 to Under-21 levels on the international stage.

“I’m feeling really good. I’ve had talks with the manager and I just wanted to come here straight away,” he told the club website.
