Currently under contract with Manchester United, Bayindir joined the team from Fenerbahçe last season. Rumors about new goalkeepers were inevitable after learning of Joe Hart’s retirement plans. Brendan Rodgers has indeed begun searching for a new number one, but nothing is confirmed yet, and we must wait for official announcements.

We can dismiss some names, such as Koen Casteels. The Belgian goalkeeper is set to join Al Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League after leaving Wolfsburg as a free agent. Although he was on Celtic’s radar, it seems they either didn’t act quickly enough or were outbid.
