With the 2025 NFL Draft a little over a month away, the Miami Dolphins are getting an in-depth look at some of the top prospects at college pro days. One of the first stops for the Dolphins was the Georgia Bulldogs pro day. At Georgia’s pro day, the Dolphins sent a strong contingent to watch the Bulldogs perform. According to Taylor Bisciotti of NFL Network, Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was in attendance at the Georgia pro day. The Dolphins have a lot of areas they can address during the 2025 NFL Draft, and Georgia has a lot of players that could fit in Miami.
Malaki Starks and Dan Jackson are safeties from Georgia the Dolphins could target. Starks is a first-round pick, and Jackson is a late day-three pick. Mykel Williams is an edge rusher who would likely be a first-round pick, and be an immediate starter in Miami. Edge rusher Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins has a day-three projection, as does defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse. Both would be good defensive line depth for Miami.
The most intriguing player for Miami would be linebacker Jalon Walker. Walker is a dynamic linebacker who can line up as a box linebacker, as well as line up on the edge of the defensive line. McDaniel was spotted talking with Walker at Georgia’s pro day in a video from Olivia Sayer, a University of Georgia sport journalist for Dawgs247.
Dolphins general manager Chris Grier was also in attendance, along with defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver. Such a strong contingent around one of the Dolphins’ potential draft choices sparks some intrigue.
At the Georgia pro day, Miami also got a look at Jared Wilson and Tate Ratledge, two interior offensive linemen who could be day-two picks for Miami. With such a strong contingent in Georgia, led by McDaniels, Grier, and Weaver, the Dolphins might spend draft capital on one of the Georgia Bulldogs. Miami has ten selections in the 2025 NFL Draft. The 2025 NFL Draft starts on Thursday, April 24, and ends on Saturday, April 26.
