Analyst Makes Strong Statement On Eagles’ Level Of Play

Some believe that they’re not as good as they were last season and that their 4-0 record is kind of fluky.

Just like what happened with the Minnesota Vikings last season, some analysts don’t buy the record and actually read into how the teams got their wins and which teams they beat.

Nonetheless, NFL analyst Peter Schrager actually believes they’re legit.

In the latest edition of “Good Morning Football,” Schrager stated that a win is a win, and the fact that the Eagles lost their top two coordinators and are still 4-0 to start the season speaks volumes of where they are as a team.

According to Schrager, September is the month when teams find out where they are after all of the offseason changes, and the Eagles should be feeling quite good right now.

The Eagles lost offensive coordinator Shane Steichen to the Indianapolis Colts job, and defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon to the Arizona Cardinals.

And while their offense is yet to fire on all cylinders, their defense picked up things right where they left them last season.

Of course, large wins are important, but except from their game against the Washington Commanders, they’ve covered the spread and dominated the speed and flow of the game every time.

Furthermore, divisional games are typically difficult, and they managed to defeat a competitor who defeated them previous season, which is also noteworthy.
