£40,000-a-week Nottingham Forest player now eyed by Turkish club

Trabzonspor have expressed interest in Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis. The Reds player will be hoping for a move before Europe’s transfer windows close.

The Nigerian performer has been transferred by the Reds. He no longer trains with the upper ranks and is now surplus to requirements.

According to Sports Digitale, Turkey is the country with the most interest. Previously, it was rumored that Saudi Arabian team Al-Ta’ee was the most interested.

Dennis would undoubtedly welcome the opportunity to leave Forest. He only had two goals last season and was unable to maintain a regular starting spot.

More was expected of the 25-year-old following his £15 million move from Watford. He never seemed to persuade Steve Cooper and will not participate this season.

The riches on offer would surely entice Dennis to Saudi Arabia. However, he’s unlikely to decline a move to Turkey if it means playing regular football.

Dennis earns £40,000-a-week

Forest striker Dennis could go to Turkey
This would be a great move for all parties. Dennis would likely get to increase his salary, whilst Forest would get a surplus player off their books. at Forest and getting that away from the wage bill would definitely be helpful after a summer of spending.

Simply put, it hasn’t worked out for Dennis at Forest. He signed after scoring 10 Premier League goals, but he didn’t fit Cooper’s style at all.

Dennis is a competent player. He’s simply to blame for Forest’s decision to play with a formation that didn’t see much of him previous season.

Hopefully, this transaction will go through. Dennis has to play football this season, and ideally, a solution can be reached that is in everyone’s best interests.
