Ianis Hagi bites back over Rangers injury issues as he’s left frustrated over repeated question

The midfielder wasn’t happy with the media as he was asked about his injury issues

Ianis Hagi, who is furious, has requested that people move on from his ACL injury, claiming that he is feeling great and has no problems with his knee.

The Rangers playmaker went on loan to Alaves in order to gain regular playing time, and he made his international debut as a second-half substitute in Romania’s win against Kosovo on Tuesday night. Now Hagi is keen to overcome the injury that sidelined him for over a year and has impeded his dreams of being a regular in the Ibrox first team under Michael Beale since his return.

After the game, he was dissatisfied by the line of questioning and refused to answer any further questions on his recovery. The 24-year-old was arrested.

He said: “The injury was 10 months ago. I’m 100 per cent ready. I have played matches. Physically, I’m amazing. My stats are even better. I don’t want to discuss anymore.”

Rangers “approach” Premier League boss to replace Michael Beale

Rangers have reportedly approached ex-Chelsea and Brighton manager Graham Potter about replacing Michael Beale.

According to the Sun and journalist Jack Rosser, the 48-year-old has turned down the offer as he waits for the proper opportunity to return to football.

Graham Potter is thought to be biding his time after turning down an offer from Lyon and has ambitions to return to Champions League football, which Rangers cannot provide this season.

If the reports are true, it would imply that Rangers have snaked the current manager at Ibrox and are already looking for replacements behind the manager’s back.

The only significant indication of strain was a Rangers Review article authored by Chris Jack, which appeared to slip in the board’s response to the under-fire manager’s transfer demands.

With Michael Beale convinced that the club would break even this window, someone inside Rangers said that the summer’s net spend was closer to £6 million.

Graham Potter has been mentioned as a possible replacement by Rangers fans, but there has been nothing tangible to suggest the club is interested until now.
