Giulian Biancone has joined Olympiacos on a permanent basis after leaving Nottingham Forest.

The Frenchman joined Steve Cooper’s team on a three-year deal from Ligue 1 club Troyes last summer. However, a serious knee injury in training kept him out for the majority of the season.

Biancone has appeared in just three games for the Reds since joining them in July of last year. His most recent outing was on October 18 in a 0-0 tie at Brighton.

The defender has finally finalized his move to Olympiacos, who are also controlled by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.

The 23-year-old has shown indications of healing from his devastating injury on social media, publishing many updates implying a return to activity.

But he will now play football in the Greek Super League. Biancone’s reaction to the move on X was simple: “let’s go.”
