Anthony Elanga of Nottingham Forest presently leads the Premier League in average distance carried when dribbling at the opposition.

The 21-year-old winger presently covers 14.4m per dribble, which is 1.2m higher than the runner-up.

Elanga, a former Manchester United player, is ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers’ £50 million striker Matheus Cunha.

Forest’s Swedish international forward has yet to make his Premier League debut, but his early performances off the bench have shown his abilities.

Brennan John’n so s replacement might be Elanga.

Anthony Elanga is yet to start a Premier League game for the Reds, but he has already proven to be an excellent addition to the Forest squad.

Elanga provided an excellent assist for Taiwo Awoniyi’s goal against Arsenal before scoring his first goal away from home against Chelsea with a cool and composed finish.

His quickness on the counter against the Gunners was just what Forest needed, with his attributes matching Steve Cooper’s counter-attacking play style to a tee.

The ‘energetic’ winger appears to be a wonderful replacement for the departed Brennan Johnson, with a fee of £15 million already appearing to be a great price for the 21-year-old who has the potential to become a superstar.

He’ll be hoping to make his Premier League debut against Burnley at the City Ground on Monday.
