Auburn 4-Star DL commit Malik Autry sees increased interest from Alabama
Auburn football’s defensive lineman commit, Malik Autry feels the new Alabama staff is interested in him.
Autry is becoming more and more of the best inside defensive lineman in the country. Right now, he is a terrific addition for the Tigers, but rival colleges won’t stop trying to sign the gifted player.
Although Alabama has not offered the Opelika High School product, interest in it is mutual and has recently increased.
Touchdown Alabama was informed by Autry, “I think it’s an increase.” “They said they were interested in me if I was interested in this new crew. That means a lot to me, and I plan to visit there soon so they can begin forming a bond.
Freddie Roach, the defensive coordinator for Alabama, was formerly romantically involved with Autry. The junior believes that the Tide will gain from having Riach work under Kalen De Boer in terms of recruiting.
“I believe Kalen DeBoer is doing a fantastic job of striking a balance between the players he now has and the guys he is looking to bring in. They should have maintained Freddie Roach, in my opinion. He appeals to me. As a result of his excellent coaching, they acquired a wealth of information. Thus, I believe that will be beneficial for them in terms of retaining Freddie Roach on staff because it will be very beneficial for them in terms of recruiting.
Autry was dominant during his junior campaign at 6-foot-6 and 283 pounds. He made plays with his strength and power while also getting after ball carriers when asked to run.
Autry remains locked in with Auburn, but he is still getting recruited by Ole Miss, Miami, Florida and others.
