Nation’s top hoops prospect on Auburn after OV: ‘I love it here’

AUBURN, Alabama—The number one player in the country for the 2025 recruiting class, 6-9 small forward/big guard AJ Dybantsa had heard plenty about Auburn’s atmosphere before coming to campus this weekend for his official visit to check out the Tigers against Mississippi State at Neville Arena. On Saturday, the Prolific Prep standout got his opportunity to see Auburn’s atmosphere up close and personal. It didn’t disappoint.

“It was a great environment,” Dybantsa said. “They weren’t lying when they said it was hard to win here. Obviously the students were very loud and active and family oriented. I love it here.”

A top priority for the Auburn staff and coach Bruce Pearl, assistant Ira Bowman and others, Dybantsa said the message from the Tigers is just to come in and do your thing.
