Angel Reese states, “Caitlin Clark got me ‘beaten’ mercilessly during my worst moment.”

When Caitlin Clark ruthlessly “beats” Angel Reese, her scheme with Dennis Rodman can’t get any worse.

It wasn’t a good night for me, Angel Reese said.

Soon after losing to Caitlin Clark’s Indiana Fever, she is receiving criticism from fans, which could be one of her worst days since joining the WNBA.

Reese chose to don a Pistons jersey prior to Friday’s game against the Fever because of her exceptional rebounding skills this season, which have drawn many comparisons to former Detroit Pistons player Dennis Rodman.

Fans were quick to express their opinions, sparking a great deal of controversy. One admirer wrote, “Best rebounder in the game, put some respect on her name,” on X. With an average of 12.9 rebounds per game and 399 rebounds overall, she leads the league in rebounding.

The comparison did not impress fans.

In spite of this, a lot of fans have noted that Rodman accomplished significantly more in his career than Reese has thus far, so she might not be relying on these analogies too heavily. “She’s no Dennis Rodman and never will be or should be mentioned in the same breath as him,” a fan remarked. “That fit makes me hate her even more, got I hate that,” remarked another fan. “Lowkey disrespectful to Dennis Rodman, he was a true hustler not a stat padder,” a another person said.

Reese and Clark have been vying for Rookie of the Year, but Clark stated during Friday’s game that neither player is interested in winning the prize on their own. “Angel and I would both respond in the same way. Individual accolades are not the first thing on your mind when you get up. I’m aware that’s what you all believe we do. I am aware that we don’t. Everyone wants to make this about that, I know,” she remarked.
