Breaking News:  Star Kurtis Rourke Has Officially Signed a 3 year contract Extension…see more

In a major development for Indiana football, star quarterback Kurtis Rourke has officially signed a three-year contract extension with the Hoosiers. The announcement was made earlier today by the university’s athletic department, solidifying Rourke’s future in Bloomington through the 2028 season.

Rourke, who transferred from Ohio University, made an immediate impact in his first season with Indiana. Known for his poise in the pocket, strong arm, and football IQ, Rourke quickly emerged as the leader of the offense and helped revitalize the Hoosiers’ passing game. His extension signals a strong vote of confidence from head coach Curt Cignetti and the Indiana staff as they continue building a competitive Big Ten program.

“This is home now,” Rourke said in a statement. “I’m grateful for the belief this program has shown in me and excited for what we’re building here together.”

In the 2024 season, Rourke threw for over 3,200 yards and 24 touchdowns, earning All-Big Ten honorable mention honors and turning heads across the conference. His return provides much-needed stability at the quarterback position and ensures continuity in the Hoosiers’ offensive system moving forward.

Indiana fans have plenty of reasons to be excited. With Rourke at the helm and a solid supporting cast, the Hoosiers are looking to make serious noise in the Big Ten next season. The extension also helps with recruiting, showing that Indiana is committed to keeping top talent in-house.

Expectations are rising in Bloomington—and with Rourke locked in for the next three years, the Hoosiers are clearly betting big on their quarterback to lead the charge.
