Gators trending to add another blue-chip WR to elite 2026 class…

The Florida Gators are on track to add another top wide receiver to their already impressive 2026 recruiting class. Among the leading targets is Naeem Burroughs, the No. 2 wide receiver in the class, who is strongly considering Florida after an impressive performance at the Under Armour All-America Game. He is scheduled to visit Gainesville in June, with other visits planned for Clemson, USC, and Texas.

Another key target is Malachi Toney, a top 10 national wide receiver who is narrowing down his choices and has Florida on his list. Toney impressed as a freshman with 621 yards and eight touchdowns, indicating a potential early commitment. Florida is also in the running for Calvin Russell III, a four-star wide receiver from Miami Northwestern, who has included the Gators in his top 12 schools.

The Gators have already secured commitments from a four-star quarterback and a three-star safety in the 2026 class. Adding Burroughs, Toney, and Russell would further strengthen their receiving corps, which is already set to be bolstered by top talent from the 2025 class, including five-star receivers Dallas Wilson and Vernell Brown III. With official visits lined up and momentum building, the Gators are in a strong position to land another elite wide receiver.
