The Charity Third Kit is introduced by Wigan.
The new replica Charity third kit for the 2025 Betfred Super League Season has been unveiled with great pleasure by Wigan Warriors and Technical Kit Partner Kappa. The shirt features a daisy print on the sleeve trim and the lilac Wigan & Leigh Hospice emblem. It was formally unveiled at the Wigan & Leigh Hospice Gala Dinner at The Edge on Saturday night.
Lilac socks and shorts with white accents go well with the top. There will only be 1,500 shirts available. In honour of Liam Marshall’s mother, who tragically died at the hospice earlier this year, each shirt has the Wigan & Leigh Hospice logo on the front bottom and the word “Debbie” printed on the side. The charity will receive £5 from each shirt sold. Supporters should be aware that this shirt is not eligible for the Season Ticket Holder discount.
Wigan & Leigh Hospice is a registered charity that provides care to those in the Wigan borough who have been diagnosed with a terminal disease. In addition to providing support to the patients’ loved ones, care is given to meet the patients’ medical, emotional, social, practical, and spiritual requirements.
In addition to the renowned Kappa Omni logo and Wigan Warriors Club badge, the shirt’s design showcases key partner Greenmount Projects on the front and Smalley Painters and Decorators on the breast. Both collars feature KHD Brokk Hire Ltd, while the sleeves include Cadena Global, CRS, and Heatable. The logos of long-time kit partners Node4 and Davanti Tyres are displayed on the back of the jersey. In 2025, the socks will bear the Pall Mall Carpets trademark, while the replica shorts will showcase Fase Group Ltd, LCS Pipework Ltd, and FBW Engineering Ltd.
We would like to express our gratitude to all of our sponsors for their support of this year’s charity shirt, which included modifying their logos to match the shirt’s pantone. Replica third kits will be on sale starting at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, November 24 and may be ordered online HERE. Adult shirts cost £55, junior shirts cost £38 and mini-kits (which include shorts and socks) cost £42. Kits come in all sizes from 0-12 months to 8XL. “It’s a great honour to be selected as the Wigan Warriors’ Charity of the Year for their 2025 season, and it’s made even more special knowing the impact our services have had on Liam Marshall and his family,” said Jo Carby, Chief Executive of Wigan & Leigh Hospice.
Wigan & Leigh Hospice is deeply ingrained in the community, much like Wigan Warriors, and our services are sustained by the community’s support. The hospice supports hundreds of families like Liam’s each year, and we are aware of the impact our services have. “For many of our patients, volunteers, and staff, having the support of Wigan Warriors will mean a lot,” she continued. The new uniform looks great, and it’s made even more memorable by the homage to Liam’s mother, Debbie. We are excited that the hospice will be a part of the Warriors’ exciting upcoming season.
“Liam is the lifeblood of our club; his enthusiasm and vitality inspire us all,” stated Chief Executive Kris Radlinski. We are all acutely aware of his pain. His remarkable character is demonstrated by the strength he displayed in 2024 despite going through such a trying period. We wanted to assist preserve his mother’s memory in a way that would be significant for him and his family. It is a privilege for us to continue supporting the incredible angels at Wigan & Leigh Hospice through 2025 since they have impacted so many lives in our community, including our own. “This is how we are giving back and uniting in support of Liam and all those who have experienced their care.”
