Dylan Raiola, the quarterback for Nebraska football, created history on Saturday by defeating Northern Iowa 34-3. During the afternoon, he completed 17 of 23 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. Since Jeff Quinn in 1980, he is the only quarterback from Nebraska to complete at least 70% of his passes in three consecutive games.

In the 1980 season, Quinn passed for 1,337 yards, 14 touchdowns, and six interceptions. Raiola is expected to have a prosperous year. With 670 passing yards, five touchdowns, and an interception, he has helped Nebraska to its first 3-0 start since the 2016 campaign.
