In Rotterdam I also signed my contract with Newcastle. The club brought all kinds of people over to the Netherlands to ensure that my first weeks went well.

“It is clear that I like it here. I feel the appreciation of the trainers and supporters. And I feel that I am developing myself under this trainer.”

Newcastle fans will be hoping that Minteh is recalled at the end of this loan period and given his shot in the first-team given that the 19-year-old has so far managed three goals and one assist in seven Eredivisie games this season.

Minteh has also played in both of Feyenoord’s Champions League games this season, so the youngster is gaining all the experience to be a star for Newcastle in the future. Hopefully the very near future.
