Time’s running out for fans to bid for One New Zealand Warriors jerseys in a special auction to raise funding for the Warriors Community Foundation’s programmes supporting educational programmes supporting tamariki and rangatahi across Aotearoa.
Featuring game-worn and signed jerseys from the Warriors’ 2024 NRL season, the Trade Me auction is running now through to mid-October offering fans a unique opportunity to own a piece of Warriors history while contributing to a worthy cause.
A signed Indigenous jersey worn by Simon Mannering Medal winner Mitchell Barnett is among the items up for grabs although punters need to be quick with bidding on that item closing tomorrow.
There are several other jerseys open for offers now while more will be put up over the coming days.
Proceeds from the auction will support the foundation’s flagship programmes including Tupu Māia, Prepare to Perform and League in Libraries, which focus on physical wellbeing, mental health and literacy education in schools and communities. These initiatives aim to equip young New Zealanders with essential life skills, empowering them to thrive both on and off the field.
“This is an incredible opportunity for our community to come together and support the wellbeing and education of our young people,” said Warriors Community Foundation CEO Lincoln Jefferson.
“Every dollar raised will directly benefit our programmes, which are designed to tackle key social issues and create a positive impact on future generations. We’re grateful for the ongoing support of our fans and Trade Me for helping us make a difference.”
